Embroidery information

We offer all our garments with a front logo FREE (see below for more details).

Embroidery is the technique of stitching a design, normally a logo or company name onto clothing, which is produced on our state-of-the-art automated machinery.

We offer a bespoke embroidery service, ideal for embroidered workwear, uniforms, corporate and promotional clothing. Embroidery looks smart, professional and is extremely hard wearing. When you supply your logo, we use specialist software to convert and optimise the image into an embroidery design.

All logos are proofed prior to production. This design proof shows how the logo will look when it is embroidered and will be sent to you for approval.

You can send us your logo or a graphic in any of these formats: jpg, png, word, psd, pdf, dst, emb. Good resolution and size will help us to recreate your logo in best possible quality.

We’ll digitise your logo or graphic. For embroidery we will run a sample and send you a photo of how it will look before we start any production.

Once approved we commence with production and will email you to confirm when your order is completed for despatch or collection.

Ordering from us could not be easier, with all work undertaken in house you can be sure your order is fully under our control with a quick 7-10 day turn around, sooner if required.

Pricing is based on size and position of the logo.

• Front (left chest) logo maximum size 12x12cm – FREE*
• *Please note that this is up to 10,000 stitches, and anything over this amount we reserve the right to make a supplementary charge of 50p per 1,000 stitches (invoices will be sent separately).
• Back or Front (full detail centre or shoulder position) logo to a maximum size 28x28cm – £12.50 plus VAT*
  *There is a one-off artwork origination fee of £12.50 for large back or front logos.
• Back TEXT (Position: Shoulders or Bottom) name, web address or telephone number maximum width 28cm – £7.50 plus VAT.
• Front (right chest) logo maximum size 12x12cm – £3.00 plus VAT.
• Right or Left sleeve logo maximum size 10x10cm – £3.00 plus VAT.
• Both sleeves maximum size 10x10cm – £6.00 plus VAT.
• Nape of Neck – £5.50 plus VAT.

Guidelines

We can embroider designs in a wide range of positions; the positions available depends on the garments you select. Typical positions include left or right chest, full width across the front chest, left or right sleeve, full width across the top of the back and so on. Each product shows the positions available. If an option is missing it is usually because a pocket or the brand logo is there. If the positions available aren’t quite right for your needs, we can still help you. Just contact our expert team before placing your order for help.

Embroidery limitations

There may be certain limitations depending on the customisation type you select. Certain designs cannot be embroidered, such as those with colour gradients or very intricate designs. However, unlike other sites which simply would refuse your order, our expert team will work with you once your order is placed to adjust your design so it can be produced as a good quality embroidery.

Colours

Embroidery thread colours are matched using Madeira’s pantone chart matching system to guarantee that we find the closest matching thread colour for your design. Please remember, there is no such thing as an exact match, as thread is pre dyed and not dyed to order.

If you wish for a particular pantone colour to be used for your printed design, it is important that you specify these when placing your order. There is a section on the customisation tool which allows you to type any notes or special instructions.

For embroidery the maximum width we can produce is 280mm/28cm. The height of your logo or image will automatically be scaled based on the width you select.
